Overnight & on-street parking is not permitted.  Please utilize the overflow lot in Westport, Glen Cove, and at the clubhouse for additional parking.  Please note that over night parking is not permitted at the clubhouse.

Pursuant to the Architectural Covenants, disabled vehicles are not permitted to be parked in the driveway or front yards.  The HOA reserves the right to have the vehicle towed off the property at the expense of the homeowner.

Recreational vehicles, campers and boats are not permitted to be stored in driveways without the Association’s prior approval.

Architectural changes to the exterior of your home, i.e., decks, fences, porches, pools, front-yard landscaping, etc. MUST BE APPROVED by the Architectural Committee of the HOA.  Each Association’s ARB application can be found on their page on this site.  The approval process can take up to 30 days.

The Pool is maintained by the association and is used by homeowner’s and their guests.  Pool keys are required for entrance.  If you are a new homeowner, you should have been given the pool key by the prior owner at closing. If you do not have a pool key, and wish to purchase one for $25, please contact the LRES office.  The pool is open May 1st and closes October 31st.

Mailbox and mailbox keys:  If you live in an Association with a mail kiosk, please note that the keys are the responsibility of the homeowner.  The HOA does not maintain key sets for homeowners.  Costs to change the mail lock boxes can range from $10 (self-installation) to $120 for a locksmith.

Dogs must be leashed at all times, and their deposits picked up immediately.

City of Southport has a website that lists information on driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, voting registration, school districts, recreational areas etc.  Access the information here.

Oak Island’s municipal website is located here.  Information regarding the island town, including parks and recreation, Salty Paws Dog Park, senior and recreational center, turtle sanctuary, etc. is available on their website.

Caswell Beach has a website here that lists information on their beach and access, turtle-nesting program, and general residential information.


Garbage pickup is provided by Brunswick County.  Contact Brunswick County Solid Waste & Recycling Office at 910-253-2520 or 888-445-2502 to acquire a new trash container.
